Bone Grafting

With periodontal disease, the bone around the teeth is damaged. Often, our team can repair and regrow this bone. We use state-of-the-art materials and techniques to accomplish this.

Scaling & Root Planing

The initial treatment for periodontal disease is usually a deeper cleaning that may include scaling or root planning. You can liken hardened plaque (calculus) as being similar to barnacles under a ship's bottom. We need to remove this "tartar" because bacteria live on this and cause gingival inflammation and disease.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are a strong, long-lasting option for replacing a lost tooth. We place the root portion, and your dentist can then build the tooth onto this. You now regain the ability to eat and smile with confidence.

Gum Grafting

When the gums move up or recede, the body loses a natural defense against both bacterial penetration and trauma. To restore this and prevent further gum and bone loss, we can rebuild this lost tissue.

Osseous Surgery (Pocket Reduction)

This refers to a number of procedures aimed at gaining access to the tooth roots to remove tartar and disease-causing bacteria. The goal is to change the environment, making it less bacteria-friendly and allowing you, the patient, and your hygienist a better ability to clean.

Crown Lengthening

The crown lengthening procedure can be used to change a "gummy smile." Sometimes a person has too much bone and gum tissue hiding much of the tooth. We can reshape and enhance this appearance.

There are times when your dentist does not have enough solid tooth structure to grab onto for a dental crown. Crown lengthening can be used to expose more of the tooth for a healthy restoration.
